I have seen nicks happen just from closing the razor into the handle. You never know. I usually notice them when I hone one as they will scratch the strop. Unless a micro nick, I would also notice it when shaving. Usually an ouch. In any case, I'll be happy to take a look at it and see if I can fix it up for you. Send me a pm if you need my address. One thing is that when they are there, you usually know it right away.

The main thing is to get you shaving, so let me know if you need a razor in the mean time.
