No, but the biggest problem is that they are still disposable.

    Default Anniversary

Well gentleman it is just nearing my 1 year anniversary of receiving the generosity of all the gentleman here. 1 year ago I was facing unemployment at Christmas time, no money for Christmas presents for the family, no known future in the job market, never shaved with a straight razor, and we were pregnant with our second child. Now a year later I have had many shaves with all of the goodies you guys sent (my wife's legs now get a weekly shave as well with the straight by me), haven't had to buy a single thing. I now have a job, our second girl is now born who is healthy, joyful, and a great sleeper. Many thanks to all those who were so generous with their resources, prayers, and thoughts. My family has been forever changed by the generosity of a year ago.

    Merry Christmas!!!

What a great thread! Thanks to all those people who help do things like this for people who really have a genuine interest in learning the artform, and above that, just help make this a great community to be part of.

Old thread, but every year I remember this thread and always makes me feel very blessed and grateful. Thanks again to all the members that made that Christmas for my wife and I. It is still our favorite Christmas of all time. We still have all the non-disposables (strop, razor, brush etc.)

    Thanks again!!!
