Thanked: 1903What is a hurry? If you should be referring to time mis-mangement, that is never an option.

I don't shave if I am in a rush, it can wait until later. I learned that the hard way when I cut myself near the side of my lip and gave myself a deep scar there that seems permanent.
If I don't have time in the morning, it is a pleasure to shave after dinner.

Thanked: 190I don't shave and go as is. I tend to be an all or nothing guy when shaving or should I say, BBS shave or nothing at all.

If I hurry, and must be shaved. than a fast one with the DE.
But if I do not necessarily have to be shaved for this event. Not

From the sounds of this thread, I need to buy a DE. Even when time is short, I can still knock a shave with a straight. No niceties though, I Just grab the Ogalla Sandalwood Bayrum in the Col Conk mug, whip up a quick lather and shave, Wild West Style..
We have assumed control !

Thanked: 1587Bah!! DEs. You guys just need to learn to shave faster with a straight. Step away from the girly razor, and practice how to be men!

Simple:
1. I get up earlier or
2. I don't shave that day...
But, I WILL NOT do a "fast shave". I enjoy the ritual too much . This is my moment of Zen...even time cannot take it away from me. This is when time stops.
Cheers,

Thanked: 1195I shave in the evenings, so I'm usually not rushed. My wife does sometimes pressure me to be quicker though, usually if we are going out. I don't rush anymore, I got one of my worst SR cuts when she was on my case to "hurry up"
(Disburden, don't worry, the scars will heal with time. Just sometimes longer than others )
Nowadys if I was to knock off a quick shave I'd probably use one of my DE's, although I enjoy using them as well and don't like rushing through a DE shave either.
