Thread: What do you do when in a hurry?

How do you get yourself to slow down when rushed for time? I got in a little bit of a rush this morning and nicked myself pretty good... nothing that you will notice by tomorrow but I haven't done that in a while now.

I'm going to make a new guideline for myself, if I don't have time to shave then I don't have time to shave.

I can do 2 passes really quick, if I am pressed for time I skip the touch ups on the hard to get places.

One quick WTG pass.... That's all I need to go out looking clean, if not feeling it... I'm 18, so it doesn't grow back too fast to worry

Vicodin makes it where you don't care about the nicks, but when it wears off... Oh! I shave at night when I know I have a morning thing.

I have been doing this lately and just going through the day a little scruffy.. which since I have worked for the same company for 10 years now and have had some form of beard that whole time until recently they still think I am clean shaven LOL

I punish myself with that, and it works for the most part. My issue is that I refuse to bring canned goo into my house now that I've had real lather. Since I still have to make lather and clean everything up afterwards. I end up either not shaving if I can get away with it, or just being even later and take the grief.

One careful WTG pass with a straight razor. Good enough for a work day but not BBS by any means. Takes 10 minutes.

If I'm in a hurry- which is not too often and I must shave, I shave. There is really nothing time consuming about making a single pass- which is sufficient to looking as well shaved as any average man on the street.

There was a time when I worried some about cutting myself if I was shaving just before heading off to an appointment. It is usually not the speed of the work but being lost in thought that gets me

When I'm in a hurry I use a DE and 2-3 passes. If I'm in a bigger hurry than that, I don't have time to shave.
