Thanked: 3My first shave with a shavette i didn't know how to properly load the blade, no instructions and no one to show me. I tried to slide the blade in the end of the razor rather than pull the plastic out and insert the blade. I actually pulled it off amazingly enough. But as soon as i started shaving the blade kept shifting and digging into my cheek. I probably cut myself 10 times on each side. But i was too stubborn to give up. When i finished "shaving" and started tending to my battle scars, my wife picked up the shavette and figured out how to pull out the plastic and insert the blade so it was properly seated..... Go ahead and make fun of me... i have earned it on that one.

Thanked: 7Worst cut I suffered due to my razor was from my Dovo. I was finished shaving and I flicked the last bit of water off the blade like i do with all my blades, the center pin broke and the blade slammed into my middle finger nail slicing it in half.

Wow.. Yea... some of these are worse than a few of my surgeries..
Well my worst one... usually when i shave only my son comes in and wants some lather on his face... but oddly enough the little 2 year old will just stand on his stool and use his wooden mock razor.. However, the day in question my wife decided she was going to talk to me while I was shaving... I was rinsing my blade and normally I just instinctively put my thumb on the spine and wiggle it in the water but somehow I had flipped the blade and when i put my thumb down I splayed the pad pretty good.. I too had a date with CA on that one... My brother works as a surgical tech so I have a first aid kit with all kinds of goodies... even for stitches.. My son actually noticed before I did.. "Daddy Boo Boo!".. Those clean cuts are a booger... never really notice till it's too deep.. Although i am still reeling from the Alfred Hitchcock shower scene with the 7 inch slice... hahaha guess one butt crack wasn't enough..
