Yes that could well be the problem, the number of finishing strokes was over 300 however I probably lack the finishing technique so far.. I believe my stropping technique is good by now, do not reckon the problem lies there..

Will have a second go at finishing today and retry in 2 days then, sounds like a plan!

How do these torn fins occur, is it due to improper finishing strokes?
