Even though I use a couple of badger brushes in my rotation. I have a well broken in Omega Pro Boar that is my go to brush when I have a couple of days growth, It really gets in there. Loading and lathering even the hardest pucks is a breeze. Great performance at a painless price point.

I made my purchase.
I bought a Vie-Long, never heard of them before but it seem like a quality piece and the price was reasonable I think.
Hopefully customs wont try to bleed me to badly .

I am just curious why you decided on the Vie-Long, a Spanish company and I assume you purchased it from a Canadian distributor by the link you posted. Am I wrong to believe that selecting one of the very fine UK manufacturers such as Simpson, Rooney, Vulfix or Kent would be maybe locally advantageous for you? Just thinking out loud mind you, i'm sure you will be happy with your decision.

I chose Vie-Long for 2 reasons , firstly that piece of olive wood is beautiful and I think that most brush handles are un inspiring , secondly all the other top brush producers don't seem to make smaller brushes apart from Edwin Jagger and I have theirs anyway.
Oh and thirdly Spanish women are the most attractive on earth

I tried the Vie-Long horse for quite a while but the pickiness never gave up and it got unplleasant.
