Thanked: 227I currently have a small half height wardrobe typed dealy that I use for keeping suits in as I stay in an tiny studio apartment with no storage, however as soon as I move somewhere larger I have me a plan to convert it into a "man cupboard" not just for shaving but also to house the other things any well groomed/dressed man should keep, such as collar stays, cufflinks, ties, watches, oh and the all important bottom shelf for whiskey , it also has two drawers at the bottom, I'm dedicating one to hones and strops and the associated palave such as pastes, and the other shall likely be dedicated to a multitude of soaps.
In the cupboard I am plannning to add drawers with little segmented areas one space for one razor, and the same deal for the sets of stays and cufflinks, and a drawer or two just for folded ties.
The long and short a one stop place for me to hold all of my getting ready gear
Ok that was a long description lol, I'll try to put up a few pictures of my planned design at some point.

This entire thread is awsome! I got so inspired I started thinking about building my own. Just been by IKEA to see what they have that could be adjusted. Oh yea, another ikea hack on the way. Perhaps I can get it started in the weekend.

Just a simple small bathroom with room to hang more razors on ΒΌ" rare earth magnets. So far the SEs and DEs go into the shelving built into the walls. I suppose that I may put magnets into the bottom trim of the wall built-ins also. Brushes are mainly for decoration but I have tried most of them. a cheap boar bristle is my present favorite.
