Sorry it's taking me a little longer to build this box than I'd hoped. On top being a crazy birthday month (my wife's, baby's, and my birthdays are all within the same week!) and paying TONS of bills and medical expenses (my baby had RSV ) it's been a long month.

I have the wood cut and stained. Next comes the assembly. I will post some pictures soon of the progress.

My apologies to GAZBAG100...I know you're waiting to see some pics.

Well, like I told GAZBAG100, it will be considerably less than the Dovo/TI versions, but I am still unsure what a fair price is. I want to be able to cover my expenses on this, but I also want to offer you guys a great deal. I've not been around in this hobby long enough to know what a good, fair price is.

she* (no biggie ) is completely better now. THIS is RSV. It CAN be deadly to a baby, especially those 6 months and younger. Luckily, ours is turning 1 tomorrow

And, Chady...I have remembered your requests.

I may be in on this box of yours.
It sounds awesome, I really would like something with a velvet interior!

I've never really frequented this forum but due to the spamming that I saw and reported I wandered in here and have been unable to leave. Just what I need... another sub-forum to keep my eyes on... Great!

That said, I have taken a not so great picture of how I've got a few of my razors displayed:

    - Picture taken with iPhone.

My wife found this box for me when she noticed my growing collection of razors. It was her father's box and he used it for displaying golf ball markers. According to my wife, it was purchased from a Bombay Company store - listed as a fountain pen display box. Unfortunately, Bombay Company has ceased operations in the US. They are however still operating in Canada, but someone has already checked to see if they still carry these cases, and he was told that they did not have them in stock and they don't take orders for items. Oh well.

I've looked at fountain pen display cases on eBay and there are quite a few that I think would work just as well (but of course, not be as pretty as the one my wife gave me...)

The fountain pen box idea is a good one - they seem to sit fairly well in yours Byron. Here is one for sale in UK eBay for about $25 that is similar.

It doesn't look like he ships to the USA - but probably would. If anyone likes the look of it and wanted it shipped I am happy to help out. You prob have similar at as good a price in the states.

    cheers
