    Default Razor Box

Anyone know of a good storage solution? I know Dovo makes a box for a seven day set. Just wondering if there is anything else out there.

i have to second this. chris makes lovely boxes. and if you want something specific he'll probably make it for you. i'm not aware of any other maker (except the dovo and ti which seem quite expensive)

I use a Gerstner wood chest to keep my razors in.

I read another thread that recommended using a cigar box from a local smoke shop.

    So...

I went down to a cigar shop in a mall nearby and asked if they had any empty cigar boxes. The proprietor said yes, and directed me to a stack of all kinds of boxes. He told me that the cardboard ones were free and the wooden ones were half price off of the marked sale sticker.

I purchased the most expensive one, which was labeled at $15.00 and walked out of the store with it for a little over $8! (sales tax - gotta pay the governor!)

These boxes are better made than the box my wife keeps her jewelry in! Closing latches and hinged, plus they smell good on the inside.

Now just line it with some velvet and it is as good as gold.

Now if I only was good at woodworking/refinishing.

    here are some pics...

Give ClassicShaving a call and ask Will to tell you about the TI display's that hold 28 and 40 razors. They are beautiful !!!!

I could do a velvet padded lining for it. I have a bunch of dark green on hand at the moment. I could also do up some sort of tang and butt holder too.
