I don't know anyone that works ivory here in Canada and have been in contact with a member already who has told me it's a federal offense to send it to Canada? It'd have been nice but doubt I can afford it even if it was legal.

It sounds to me like it's going to get done in African blackwood right now!!!! I think that would be quite the partner to the Rooney!

Maybe Rooneys name for Manchurian is Super? That is the problem with badger hair, everyone seems to use different names to describe a similar grade. Could well be the same grade.

I really don't know what people mean by "scritchy".
Thanks Bob, what is the SOC brush ? I don't know what SOC stands for. All I mean by scritchy is you feel a little scrubbiness on your cheek/neck. Not a lot to be scritchy but not baby butt soft. I like baby butt soft once in awhile but some scritch is a nice change of pace.

Rooney's top end used to be the "Finest" and they say they can't access that quality of bristle anymore.

Both the Simpson Manchurian and the SOC (Semogue Owners Club) 2 band badger do have a little bit of scrubbiness with soft tips, at least for me.

Thanks Bob, that is what I was curious about. I have a few Semogue boars and they are very nice. Only one is scritchy/scrubby but I like all three. I'll have to think about adding a SOC badger to the herd.

Not true, they can be soaked in sake for 30 days and 30 nights, than they will have the perfect scritchyness than they will be sorta like windows XP.

Brooksie, how long did it take for shipping from China? I just might order one Wednesday depending on how shipping times and costs are.
