Thread: Clown nose brush

Here's a brush I turned back in June, and just got done now. For some reason I really struggled with the CA finish on this one. I'd say it took me 5 tries to nail it down. But, I finally got it right. Some of the guys at our last meet saw it, while it still had cloudy sections on it.

It's red Mallee burl turned to sorta mimic my Vintage Plisson. Here's a pic of that brush.



The finished brush has a 22mm finest, with a loft of 52mm. The Mallee burl has a very deep red color, and also shows some of the orange sap wood.
