How ever it happened at the very least he saved you some money on keeping him in prison.

It's unfortunate I think. This way he gets off easy.
Justice would have been to have him rot away for the rest of his days, knowing those four walls are the only thing he'll be looking at 23 hours a day.

I believe the true irony here is that his victims managed to survive for up to 10 years in his "Prison" yet he cracked in 1 month...

He could have at least been man enough to do 10 years like his victims. But he did save us the time, trouble, money and bed space.

Not really sure how easy it went for him; death by hanging is usually not instant. I'm willing to bet there were at least a few minutes of reminiscing as he dangled & the lingering thought that, "Maybe this wasn't such a great idea?"

Actually john if properly done it is very quick and painless, the proper knot has 8 coils, the coils are placed behind the left ear.
When the body drops the intent is to sever the spinal cord at C2,is about instant death.

Yes, but the fact is, "Even with a properly tied knot; there's gonna be some loft & a little lather. "

Honestly guys, I don't want to seem too bleeding heart here, but can we at least show a little respect for the sanctity of human life, if for no other reason than his lack of it is (apparently) the reason why this person is so despised?
