And I agree with what you wrote re: Rob Ford.

His popularity was due to his being perceived as the anti-thesis to the champagne socialists of David Miller and crew...he was the working man who would save money and not fart it all away counting homeless people or some such make work program.

Having said that, I'll take a crack smoking, drunk Mayor who saves money (if in fact thats true) over an incompetent smarmy mouthed government that blows billions of dollars and is stunned when the little stupid people like us get upset anyday!! haha

Note: ....and his popularity is still up! His bad numbers are what a lot of politicians would dream of having...go figure??

Well, I guess he just proves that his sort is to be found in all political parties judging by what is going on federally. As they say, politicians are only human too, as much as people would deny that is true. Maybe we all are in an alternate universe and just haven't realized it yet.
