Thanked: 3228Ya gotta love it, maybe his fishin buddy good ole PM Stevie Harper can bail him out once he finishes sweeping the Senate scandal under the rug. 'No one believes this Prime Minister' MP argues, as Senate scandal rolls on | CTV News what a dog and pony show.

Thanked: 1195Too bad Chris Farley is dead, Rob Ford could have been a career defining role for him lol
Unfortunately, the reality would be a little different. The Rob Ford Story would likely be a made-for-tv movie, and since the Canadian networks have no guts it would have to be a nice fluff piece about a misunderstood man with a slight glandular problem who beat the odds to rise to the top of Toronto politics. And of course the next day, backed by a sympathetic country that watched the movie, the real Rob Ford would announce his intentions to one day be Prime Minister to wild applause....

Thanked: 3228Naw, I don't think anyone in the networks is in the mood to let Ford or his fishin buddy Harper off the hook anytime soon. Even Sun News, otherwise referred to as Fox North by some, only had the stomach to air the first and only episode of the Ford Brothers TV show for some strange reason. I would hope the country has had it's nose full of these shenanigans too.

I honestly wish that people would stop talking about Rob Ford. He represents our province as mayor of our capitol, and in a sense represents Canada (especially right now with everyone being so loud about the crap going on) because Toronto is one of the most well known, if not the most well known, city in Canada. Toronto is basically the second Ottawa.
Stop talking about Ford and talk about something actually important....like what's going on at Fukushima.

Thanked: 3228I honestly wish people would stop voting for people like him. We can do something about that but I am pretty sure what is happening at Fukushima, as important as it is, is the responsibility of the Japanese government and people.

Thanked: 1371I thought it would be about the guy who shot Jessie James.
Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

When it concerns the entire world and the poisoning of our species, it's not just the responsibility of the Japanese. Babies are being born with hypothyroidism because of radiation exposure. This isn't just in Japan, this is in North America.
There's also a huge chance of another meltdown at reactor four while they take the rods out...I believe the analogy of a crumpled pack of cigarettes was used. Try to take them all out without some breaking...except these cigarettes release radiation.
Do a google news search on fukishima and stop talking about Rob Ford...as an Ontarian....it's f@$%ing embarrassing as hell (if you'll pardon my french).
