Anytime I do a search on SRP, I am struck by the number of disappeared members. I wonder what the average number of posts are, or time active before someone vaporizes? Why do they leave and not come back? Lots of reasons I'm sure, but what might be the top 5? Possibly one parameter could be if you haven't posted in a year you are considered inactive...or longer?

WW243, the only way an SRP member is made inactive is when they are banned for rules violation. Those that have not responded or posted in awhile are self activating inactive. There are no rules or systems for marking a member in good standing inactive if their post count is low. As some one noted earlier, some get a few answers and are satisfied, others go on to other pursuits. No member is removed except by banning, and even there their name, etc is left intact.

So we have achieved immortality of a sort!

Speaking of immortality, last week I was searching for information or pics on a razor. I searched before but decided to give it another try as there is very little information on this razor but a lot on the maker.
Anyway, I searched Images also and among the images was one of my own images taken from this site! Again, we are all immortal, somehow.

Nothing is as gratifying as having your work published, even if you are not paid.
