I have seen it before. I can see it again, and again, and again......

Local mice loved peanut butter and the traps worked very well as they tried to get it out of the well it goes into. I live in the country and cannot get the water softener folks to close the door when they recharge my softener. Don't give the little blighters a chance to multiply ( either one!).

Tried a different type of trap that holds cheese easier and that didn't work either.
I may have to get the poison out. My wife wants me to but I hate the smell of a dead mouse and having to dig around to find it.

I have a Georgetown pottery g12 scuttle. I fill the outside and the bowl part with hot water and let the brush soak in there for 10 mins or so. it has a cap so after the 10 mins I pour out the bowl and build the lather with the hot water still in the inside(uhh outside). I was wondering if I upgrade the brush it would stay in the bowl. isn't how its suppose to be done?

Mafuzul,
I think that we may be talking 'Oranges vs Apples' here.
'My' scuttle has a 'chamber' that holds the heated water and the 'bowl' is dry/at least until I add my brush with lather on it.
I'll try to get a quick pic or two so we can see if we are talking about similar items here. Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

No I gotcha, so do you soak your brush in another mug and when its ready you fill the scuttle with hot water and build the lather? because this could be related to another problem that I having in not getting hot shaves, since the water in the chamber has been sitting there for 10 mins before I build the lather.
