The motors in Holden cars including the V8 Chevrolet range are good for 400,000 km plus if maintained properly. It's everything else around them that seems to take a beating. NZ roads are pretty rough in a lot of areas, hard on the vehicle. I imagine quite a few Aussie roads in the outback areas are similar. Originally Posted by 32t
