Looks like a heck of a lot more than just blood in that truck....

    How Effective Are Deer Whistles?

I kinda wish this wasn't true, but it doesn't really look like they work well. However, there being so many deer in my neck of the woods (and a whole lot more out of the 'burbs), any positive results may help...

If you can only get 260,00 km out of a vehicle that is a very poor advertisement. Maybe a tractor or a bicycle????

The motors in Holden cars including the V8 Chevrolet range are good for 400,000 km plus if maintained properly. It's everything else around them that seems to take a beating. NZ roads are pretty rough in a lot of areas, hard on the vehicle. I imagine quite a few Aussie roads in the outback areas are similar.

Know a lady who has a deer whistle business and she let's charity groups assemble them for fundraisers. People must still be buying some.

Oh look Hasenpfeffer and I'm starving....

    Have a great day...

My last truck a Dodge made it to around 576,145 km before i decided it wasn't worth keeping the body etc. alive around the motor.

I see that my conversion was in error.

More like around 622000 km. LOL

I know this is an inside thing but last I heard it was around Elgin and is still going.

I didn't want to deal with the brake likes that had rotted out. I had traded the seat bottoms from the left to right as I usually drive alone. I had long ago traded the right door lock for the left etc..................
