I awoke at 7am today to find that the predicted freezing rain had indeed arrived
I got around to taking a pic at about 8:30
Then it started to rain and the wind started blow. While it may not technically a 'Chinook' an hour and a half later this is the result.
Now as long as the snow comes off slowly things around here should be alright. If the rain pours and that warm wind keeps blowing we might see some flooding.Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

Yep,, it gets bad when the wind suddenly whips up; it blows sand into the cooler.
