Just put in my renewal for my HAM radio license. Forgot my password, so put in a request to replace it and then I took a wild stab and guessed the right one. I hope it takes!

What I won't do to save some money
I've been with the same dentist (Dr. Dan) for over 35 years. Also two wives and three kids have been through his clinic so he's been well supplied with funds from my insurance company.
However since I retired any and all funds come off of my supper table as I no longer have dental insurance. However earlier this year Dr Dan offered me a 'Plan'. the plan cost me $320.00 for a year and it would include; 2 free cleanings, 1 free full set of x-rays and 20% off of Any Procedure. I battle periodontal disease so I have cleanings 4 times a year. But with the plan I get 20% off of those 2 extra cleanings.
I recently broke part of a tooth and needed a new crown. Dr Dan is always at the leading edge of technology and he was going with a new and improved system for making in house porcelain crowns. When he got his first system he gave me a free crown and had told me to bring some CD's as he and his assistants would be learning this new tech. (His long time assistant got the first and her boyfriend got the second/I was the third).
So anyway I spent 3.5 hours in the chair today while the technician from the equipment manufacturer guided Dr Dan and his assistant through the process.
Here's the outcome of the expended funds:
$1299-Full Charge
- 259 20% discount
1040 subtotal
- 100 Dr Dan discount
$940 Total Due
Savings of $359. So the 'plan' is well worth it even it it was only the $259 discount.
Now I can't wait until the after 'shock' to my jaw settles down. Hmmm where did that 500mg ibuprofen go?Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

I found this article online at The Seattle Times,
Honest! I didn't make this up!
LA GRANDE, Pierce County — Authorities say a man who was drunk, naked and having sex with a woman while driving south of Tacoma missed a curve and struck a tree.
Washington State Patrol spokeswoman Brooke Bova says the crash happened at about 6 p.m. Wednesday on Mountain Highway East near La Grande.
Bova says the woman, who was also naked, was hospitalized with broken bones. Bova says her 3-month-old child in the back seat was uninjured.
The News Tribune reports the driver was arrested and taken to Pierce County Jail on suspicion of felony driving under the influence, vehicular assault and child endangerment, according to Bova.
She says the man has three prior DUI convictions.
Witnesses told responding troopers both the man and woman were naked when they left the vehicle.

From what I understand I can be late for up to 2 years on the radio license...........
10 years is a long time to remember passwords etc. Maybe 8 since I last logged into the FCC
I never got a reply to the reset and I was 3 days late............. It costs so much!
[For those here that are not HAMS it is free,]
