I'm pretty sure your mother was grateful that you were not 6 foot tall when you were born.

HF..The inside track club was a winner when I was getting my shop together as was ENCO, also they sure helped my boss put together a lot of the minor items used in a prototype business. Even though ENCO is gone, I still get my ENCO discounted price at MSC
It would be worth while setting up an email account with HF. Then you get the flyers and occasional 20% off coupons!
It may also behoove you to check the local on-line auction houses. They allow previewing and you bid on line. most are set up to pick up your item, though now some will ship the smaller items. University and School surplus stores are worth the look see. We have one here that has desks, tools, electronics, etc.
