It's funny how hard times often equate to good memories...
Just the thought of 6 kids generates good memories for me. I was raised with 6 siblings and lots of happy times!

My finances are not sufficiently complicated to justify a CPA. Taxes usually take me about a half hour.

I woke this morning and discovered that I have come down with a case of biophilia. As a result, I find it necessary to wish you all a fine and fruitful day, to enjoy whatever pursuits hit your fancy and finish the day with a libation of your choice. G'day ta ye all.

One of my friends confided in me that once he went out in the woods and took his clothes off so he could climb up in a tree and act like a monkey. Now i know why.(I had to look up biophilia) At the time i thought it was just a little strange. (still do i guess)

While I do have a 'lawn' it's a really small one but I do try to have it looking nice. My old mower was given to me about 8-10 years ago and for the last couple of years it's been a pain in the arse.

So I bit the bullet and bought a new Craftsman with the Kohler OHV engine. It was on sale with free delivery and with WA taxes it was right at $240. I do hope it lives longer than me. With that said for what my 11 year old grandson charged me these last two weeks to mow for me---It'll be paid for before the end of August.

Anyway I read through the destruction's and ended up just shaking my head----------the damn thing has a 'Catalytic Muffler' AND An Oxygen Sensor'

I also found that it doesn't use a primer bulb or a manual choke. There's a linkage from the carburetor to the muffler. When the muffler's cold the choke is closed and once the muffler warms up it opens the choke. Apparently the entire engine/carb set up is a Kopy Kat of a Honda Design.

Once I had it assembled, the oil filled to the correct level and mid-grade non ethanol fuel added--- It started on the first pull. I can get used to that

I've only ever used reel mowers. I usually need a few pulls.
