Thanked: 556Had a student years ago who had the brilliant idea to use coloured water fill one of those lawn spraying trucks with a white plastic cylinder tank. He followed the truck and video recorded what was happening to the water in the tank as the truck turned corners or changed lanes at various speeds. He did this with the tank filled to different levels.
He wrote a computer program to predict what would happen to a larger tanker truck dong the same activities and flag when it was likely to overturn. He got 3rd prize in a local science fair, but got a scholarship from one of the big trucking associations.David

The comedian Bill Engvall was talking about how a semi truck had struck an overpass and the cop walked up and said "Git your truck stuck"? To which the driver said; "Nope! I was delivering this overpass and ran out of fuel" ----------------Here's Your Sign!

You wouldnt believe how many drivers DONT know how tall there vehicle is. I have a cheater stick i use to measure tanks at the stations. Just stand it up and i can see how tall my vehicle is quickly.
It's just Sharpening, right?

A little bit in there is one 'Smart' driver as he very slowly creeps up to the over pass and finds that he won't clear. However it doesn't show how he gets the hell he gets out of there.
Good idea on using the stick. Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

I went to print words in black and white and my printer wouldn't let me because the Yellow cartridge was "empty"!
I had a yellow cartridge but that is not the point......

I feel your pain brother--that same crap happens to me! In fact My HP Deskjet started printing very poor color prints so I bought both cartridges and the same crap happened. So I just bought a Brother Laser printer and do my printing in Black and White/It came with a 'sample' cartridge and I've yet to have to replace it and that's been over a year.

Great tip Roy.
I've been thinking about getting a new laser printer.
I don't use it all that much and my HP inkjet cartridges, especially the color ones, dry up after hardly being used. What a waste of money especially when 99.9% of the printing I do is in black and white. It's mostly being used as a copy machine. Even the black ink doesn't seem to last that long.
