Thats a pretty cool option Mark. I wish i couls use it but i get buisness calls from folks i dont know. Wife gets calls from doctors and schools, etc. But for a hermit like Roy!

I was going to say, if you look closely you will see the antique flip phone Roy uses. Some day he will come into the 20th century. Maybe.

    I'd say 'semi-hermit'

While it is a flip phone, it fits very nicely in my jean Front pockets, it'll take pictures, videos, send and receive text messages, has access to the internet but most importantly it allows me to make and receive PHONE CALLS- After all it a cell 'PHONE'.

It also has a very important feature that I can use and I wish more people knew how to silence their phones. It's very irritating when people don't silence them when they should/I suppose that they either don't care, don't know how. Yes I've heard them ring in a circumstance like this, I wish they would have had the same results.

Sorry, I so completely neglected Roy’s mastodon factor. I recall him showing off his flip phone once before but didn’t notice the form factor in the crappy pic.

Razors hadn't been invented when my Senior Picture was taken and the fire was all that was available to trim it.

Things sure have changed; no more living in caves, running from saber tooth tigers, living on woolly mammoth meat including using a razor--that damn fire always took my eyebrows along with the beard.

Roy, you must be somewhat closer to the 20th Centry as the pic of the phone was taken somehow. So your hiding the $5,000 camera from us trying to act like a mastodon. I see now!

While I do have a $350 digital camera and is what I used to take that pic. I have never figured out how to use all of the features.

    Default Sad Loss

I lost an old friend today. He was about 15 years old.

He had always been there when I needed him. However he did have a problem and over the years he's tried to commit suicide by attempting to jump off a height. Fortunately I've always been there to save him.

However today I wasn't quick enough.

At first I just laid him to rest to go to that great unknown but while he never said so, I'll be donating any parts that can be used by others.

If only his switch would have stayed 'off' he'd still be here with me.

While it might seem cruel to some, I've already made arrangements for his replacement. I"m sure he'll understand.
