And here I thought it was only North American millennial's that had fallen for the entitlement ideology. Where did we go so wrong?

I love how the 'host' follows along with comments.

I do hope that all here will enjoy but might share with others what happened.

you never told them not only do you have to do your best, you have to be the best. the latter keeps everyone competitive

It also means you never settle for being second, or the first loser

I doubt that you could ever come up with a definitive answer but could have fun trying!
Thanks, but there are somethings like this I do tend to ponder when working alone for hours on end. It gets menotenous running equipment sometimes. And you think of these things and are like “who in the Sam hell came up with this?”

Another one, when someone says “I have a shit ton of ..........” how much is that?
Is it in English lbs or is is a metric ton. And that’s just thinking about the weight of said shit.....

The phrase "sh!t ton" has been a staple of mine as the term captures a whole load of nasty ugliness.

However, I'm usually reminding myself to qualify them as "metric sh!t tons" just so no one's confused between SI and English units.

I realized today as I sip a rum and egg nog and plan an ‘avoid the malls’ day I haven’t shaved with a straight since the 3rd of December. DEs in a rush all month.
Been up late, up earlier, working 6 day weeks all year and sort of lost myself in the daily needs of the plant. I’m off till Jan 2, if all goes well and coming up for air has me really wondering if it’s all worth it!!
Sure we all need to work, but how much is too much? Gonna be thinking about that over the holidays.
Enjoyed reading the adventures and projects had over the last while.
    Be safe all.

I too think about what i would gain or loose if i didnt work so many hours. The hard part is making yourself not work so many hours. Every day i say to myself "i got time for one more".
