    Yes...pastries and most likely excellent coffee/espresso to wash them down. I did not see one single tip-off that the place was owned by McDonald's.

    Now that is an architectural makeover I can support!

    One of the main selling points of a chain of restaurants/stores is that they are the same so a customer can go to one that they have never been to before and know what to expect.

    One of my first real jobs was at a mcd’s.
    Good basic training and dealing with simple pressures kind of grooming there, then.
