Thanked: 3795Ah, now that brings back memories.
I have no recollection of what I did, and I do know it was trivial, but the woman I was dating before my wife got mad at me for something and she vehemently said…
"You are an a--hole!"
YOU are an a--hole!"
You are an A--HOLE!"
etc.
etc.
She kept saying it with different inflections but the sentiment remained the same. After a few of them, I started counting on my fingers. She said it EIGHT TIMES! Apparently only one of us thought that what I did was trivial.

You where probably 5 minutes early pucking her up or the flowers weren't her favorite l. When something doesnt go exactly how they think, you're the reason.

And my wife thought she'd save some money, if she charged the Christmas gifts in two credit cards, instead of puting it all on one card...TWICE..!!
I TOOK THE DAMN THINGS AWAY FROM HER, AND CUT THEM UP.
AAAARRGGG.!!!! [emoji35]Mike

Today Was A Good Day.
Five years ago I started frequenting a local Duncan Donuts; basically everyday at a certain time. I would see a elderly man in his late 80's or early 90's park his car in the same spot by the side door. He had difficulty getting in & out of his car; many years of a hard life.
After 2 years of watching him arrive & order the same items each day, I complemented him on his car; a new very clean car. His loves his car.
I would then sit with him, often with my son, and he would tell me stories of Coney Island in the 1930's.
He would tell me stories of the Korean War which he served in.
He would tell me all about his children; his wife passed many years ago.
We had these talks several times a week for the past few years.
For one week he does not show. For seven months he does not show.
I started parking in his spot every time I went.
I tried for two months to locate him, fearing him sick & in a home somewhere.
My son asks about him & I said, "He's crossed over, we all have to make the trip."
For five years I never knew his last name, only his first, "Sal".
Today, I parked in his spot & my son went in to get me a coffee. I buried my head in my cell phone to glance at SRP.
I heard a car horn next to me; I turned to see Sal shaking his finger at me smiling, as he shouted, "Your in my spot."
Today was a good day.
