The Black Death actually solidified the hold of the Ruling Class over the Masses. The Man was still the Man!
Most of them made it. Some thing to do with horses and fleas.

I think it's time I post a reminder about civility and decorum required on this site.

I understand that emotions can get high, and then people start veering towards exaggeration, false equivalencies, and general nonsense.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I guess im stumped isn't it already the law that to sell ivory ,,it must be preban stuff that is already harvested and here stored legally , not new poached ivory ,that is illegal. so that would mean our government is telling us that they can tell us what and when and how we deal with our posessions. that were legally gained? I don't know that this was the country I bled for any more. I do care about this mammal that needs protecting ,but making it illegal to sell or transport ivory that is already in the system and legal has nothing to do with what is happening to them now. I don't know the answer, but I'll wager neither do our politicians, and going after law abiding citizens is not what they were sent to Washington to do! my two cents ,,,in the mean time I guess ill hide my ivory gripped 1911,s I had custom made with ivory I purchased legally with all paperwork respectfully tc

The whole point of this is it is impossible to tell pre ban from none pre ban and the supply of pre ban seems inexhaustible so this is the only way to control the problem. I'm not advocating the law just saying that's why they are doing this.

Thats exactally the main issue,I can provide you with all the legal documentation, but is no way to prove the Ivory sent to you came from a legal tusk.Just to make one thing clear,You can own all the Ivory you want,The feds are just stopping interstate sales of Ivory.
