    A few country songs:

(I have heard some story about this song being pitched to Johnny Cash when the author landed a helicopter he was flying on Cash’s front lawn)

(I wrote him back a letter and I told him it was not the perfect country and western song because he hadn't said anything at all about mama. Or trains. Or trucks. Or prisons. Or getting drunk.)

Kris wrote some great lyrics. "Sunday Morning Coming Down" is one of my favorites. "He Stopped Loving Her Today" is a great country song. But the ultimate rock and roll song, IMO, is

Sex, drugs and rock and roll! Blues based, and downright nasty!

Here's something my ol' dad would sing and play (guitar/ukulele) to us kids when I was a little rug rat --- he still plays it now and then.
