A classic from my (home)town. Michael Stanley Band is something of a legend in where I grew up; in other places I’ve lived mentioning MSB is a good way to solicit a blank stare followed eventually by, “…who?”
So here is one for Cleveland, Ohio, USA:

I like the hometown appreciation Michael --- we don't always totally like or appreciate where and what we come from but we can't deny it and it makes us uniquely what we are.

Hey Steve --- it is easy for a Northern dude to become a southern boy -- if ever you want to make the change, just talk slower, be less productive, drop your IQ a couple of points and say ya'll a lot But don't you have Missouri roots? Some call that southern ,

    It's all good,

    Justin

Good memory, Justin. Yes, my paw is from Missoura. I wear cowboy boots and western hats so I'd probably be better off in the midwest or so. As for the IQ, if I drop it anymore, turnips would be smarter than me.

My old high school buddy, Ron Keel. This was his last band. Before that, Steeler, Keel and a few others.
