I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole until the first service pack comes out.

Thanked: 3227Got brave and transferred my favourites to the Edge browser. Can log into SRP no problem and Edge seems to be really fast.

Like Spendur, I can't see any reason to upgrade to a new O/S until the first major service pack is out. It's just not worth the risk.

Been using Windows 10 for nearly a week now and been doing some exploring. I have not configured Edge yet but it does seem a lot faster than Explorer which was always slow and the reason I use Firefox, at least for now. I have not found where to uninstall a program yet as I have a couple I may get rid of but I will find it....it can hide but it can't run...he! he!
I did loose a couple of apps (Speccy & HWMonitor) during the upgrade that I use to monitor processor and video card temps, no problem, they were free and I just downloaded and re-installed. Also lost a game but re-installed with no problem.
Barring any future major problems I believe I'll stay with 10 as it has a lot of extra features I like even though I really like 7."If You Knew Half of What I Forgot You Would Be An Idiot" - by DoughBoy68

Nope. I run a Linux based OS on the computer I built and will be installing it on all the laptops in the house when Microsoft starts insisting on a 10 upgrade for everyone. Linux doesn't have all the background clutter and security issues that Windows has plus it is open source which allows me the opportunity to play around an tweek things on my own system.

Thanked: 433I put it on my Gateway desktop and it's flawless. My Toshiba laptop COMPLETELY hated it (lockups, crashes etc) so I went back to 8.1 on that

I installed 10 went from windows 8.1 which I really get along with fine personally, then I started having a few issues so I went straight back to windows 8.1 and I'm not going back anytime soon.

I am also interested in the opinion of others. My friend also went on Windows10, saying that the system works faster.
