My little dog Foxie frequently snags and snarfs one, the coughing and wheezing proceeds!
Feed Bob a bug or two once in awhile and keep'em happy. I get a couple by the workbench I'm nice to. Once it freezes here we become bug free and I can't help them. There's always a fat one by the porch light that likes me. We have a brown recluse (stiff web) that will leave a nasty welt after nailing you in your sleep. The kitties take care of most issues for us though. Must be careful.

    Amen!
No real venomous critters up here. I mean sure cold will kill. But it doesn't look like those 8 legged horrors!!
    hehe

Yeah Tom, the wolf spider was small. What really happened is one was creeping toward me while I was sitting on the floor and I moved a hand to back it off. Instead it lunged toward my hand and I instinctively yanked my hand back. So the little wolf won that round. Generally I don't kill spiders, no reason. I've left Daddy Longlegs to settle high in the corners of rooms and thrown flies that I hand caught into their webs. Black Widows...I kilt me a few.

We get some nasty wild life here. Perhaps the most brutal spider we have in Australia is the Sydney Funnel Web (Atrax robustus).

Wow, there's a lot of crazy action around there, police are definitely busy.
