    That looks great, kinda like functional art.
    I like Tanto point knives, they can be pretty rough on a sheath

    Hey Guys,

    I finally gave my old Ka-Bar a new home. I threw in a spare room for a vintage Nicholson file to keep her running sharp, should I ever find myself away from the hones. (Probably will never happen)

    Yes, it is. In my military specialty, electronic repair, a Ka-Bar was not assigned. They issued me a soldering iron instead. But every Marine gets one, whether he uses it or not.

    I guess with the soldering iron you could cauterize any wounds you might acquire.

    The tax payers spent 2 1/2 years paying for specialized electronics & soldering classes & I left to do something totally different.
    But, I still got my Ka-Bar.
