    Tc.

My phone sits in my locker at work. I have been there 20 years and about 5 times my wife has called our dept secretary. Each time Tammy has dropped everything else and got a hold of me because she knew it was important.

Leave me a message and I get it about 3:05 as I am walking to my truck.

I for some reason thought that this was in the off topic thread.....

Anyway it might fit in. I was thinking of making some sort of holster for my new phone that is big and bulky compared to the flip phone. I might have to go back to more pocket shirts. I can't carry the dang thing in my pants and a holster on the belt would interfere with a seat belt. Has any one tried one of these?

If you wouldn't get shot trying to draw your phone...

My other thought is a pair of suspenders with a phone pouch attached.

Probably fit more of my look and style!

There are some tablet sized ones on the market these days. Around here no one would think you were reaching for you concealed carry, because no one here does that, but there are areas. . .

Oh the complications of modern day life. You could always have Hirlau make you a custom holder that you could wear around your neck.

    The Millstone around my neck....

I was trying to hint at least that he would share his skills/knowledge.

I am thinking about cutting a sheet of plywood to use as a form.....

I don't want to get the phone wet while forming the holster.

Maybe I could really get "modern" and use Kydex......

To carry a cell dangling from the neck would not last long, too heavy & that shoulder holster for a cell phone is the silliest crap I have ever seen.

Belt carry or in the pocket.

If your going to form around the cell , just turn it off & wrap several layers of Saran wrap around it. It's not the water that will be the obstacle, it's the heat that will have to be applied to dry the form.

I have tried hundreds of dollars worth of cases and carry, but my pocket or the pocket on the front of my bib overalls is where they stay now, none seemed to be what I wanted or was comfortable with, I've lost phones that were on my belt. And I stopped putting them in a safety box( otter box, or tough case) then their too big for the pocket, iPhones are really slim so they go in a pocket well. I just wish they would go back to the iPhone 4 size again. Most f the time my phone sits in its holder on the dashboard of my truck Tc
