Got a Wood Clock kit for Christmas. Got started putting together the gears. Nice project. All the parts are lazor cut so very accurate. A lot of sanding and get things to fit right but its been fun. Maybe I'll get it finished in the next day or so.

I'm doing my best to make everything as good as it can be so I'm hoping it works in the end. You just never know about these things.

Thanked: 4207As it warms up closer to 0 the snow starts to fall again.
Have a broken electric shovel that needed rear wheels replaced.
No way to save the busted abs frame so made a set of skis out of Blue uhmw.
Milled them to fit into the original leg posts and reused the original hardware. . Hopefully thiswill hold up to the task,,, and not scratch the new deck.
Had the uhmw Stock in hand. If it works, saved the shovel, and my back.
Cheers men."Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."

Thanked: 4207This ones for detail work. Have the toro walk behind for the front as well, but thanks buddy. Hold onto yours, insurance against never needing it is having it.
This little shovel Throws a surprising amount surprisingly far.

LOL - yea the one I have is powered as well...has a reverse gear as well...could do the whole neighbourhood...was a trifle gobsmacked when the brother-in-law brought it down, I was like WTF am I going to do with this???? Father-in-law used to do landscaping work, so this is a piece of his winter kit....knowing me though, I'd probably get my foot chewed off, which is why, when it suits, I'm a big Feminist Supporter..."Alright Sweetie...get your Dad's snow machine out and clear the driveway and the walks...I'll stay here in the warm and make you a cuppa tea!"....LOL.
Afterall...it is 2018.....

Its been a while since anything was posted here so bringing it back to the top.
Here is the clock put together. The wife hates it because it ticks too loudly. Well, She bought it for me. It even keeps pretty good time. Looses about a minute in three days.
Now I'm fixing a CB radio. I seem to be doing this almost every weekend. Cant get rich doing it but It helps pay for my hobbies.
