What I find most depressing is when a person starts with 'If XYZ is true' and in a couple of sentences arrives at 'Shame on you for XYZ'.
This self-winding on a downspiral due to complete dissociation from whatever the facts may be is a recipe for disaster. All it takes it to then be replicated over and over and over.

Understood. I was lazy. Ten seconds of doing a Google search brings up a host of different websites who say no U.S. flags displayed inside DNC. Given that in this age of the internet you can't believe everything you read and given that I did not attend the DNC, my statement stands. I will edit my remark however, to reiterate "if that's true" before my admonishment.

Because attributing a few left wing radical outliers to the DNC is like attributing a few (well, more than a few, but let us be generous) shitkickers to the US army for Abu Ghraib. Or the GOP's Benghazi.

How exactly did you determine his partisan affiliation?

May be he was just a strict libertarian or constitutionalist in the mold of justice Scalia who determined that flag burning is just as vital as the right to bear arms.

Because the cops arrested him right then and there and he alerted the media he was going to do it

He has done it before but did not set himself and others on fire, this is the same guy

Interesting, I did not know that being arrested or that alerting 'the media' about upcoming flag burning is equivalent to being democrat.

I'm starting to think that the way you keep talking about everything else except the question I asked may mean that you didn't make your assertion that the guy is democrat based on evidence you have, but may be you just made it up.

I think that serves a larger point you are trying to make, though - democrats are USA hating flag burners. Which is a logic that should give you pause about your team because there is an interesting republican running for the US senate in Louisiana who supports your chosen presidential candidate "David Duke - former KKK leader".

I just can't believe folks on the right here are making an issue of there being no flag or flags prominent at the DNC. I mean you just gotta keep searching for something.

Why aren't we talking about how il Duce is gonna fulfill all his promises.

Just another example of why this country is in the shape it's in.
