Dave is my first name.
Chopper you might ask...
When I was a young teenager, my uncle owned a Harley Davidson dealership in St. Louis, MO. I used to take totaled bikes, if the frame was still straight and cobble together choppers. Back then you couldn't buy stretched and raked frames, all you could do was weld extensions on the front forks. That made for some very interesting bikes, and very difficult bikes to ride at parking lot speeds. So I would chop up wrecked bikes and make choppers out of em. Since I was only thirteen, the shops mechanics were happy to help me and teach me. Pretty soon folks started calling me ChopperDave.Smarter than I look or, not as dumb as I look. Whichever you prefer.

When I originally signed up I wasn't allowed to use the underscore symbol (_), and therefore couldn't use my usual screen name (mio_cuggino).
So, I rationalized to my self that I would not stick around this Site for very long. "Why would I want more than one soap / aftershave / brush etc?" I remember asking myself.
So I chose a woman's name, followed by what is used to play an Italian game called totocalcio.
Anyway, it's now 2015, I have almost a dozen soaps /creams, way too many AS and EdT, and I'm enjoying bread recipes and oatmeal recipes...And not a day goes by that I am not reminded of what a lame username I picked.
So, who's up next?

Thanked: 220This is an interesting thread, as I've sometimes wondered what was behind some of your names. I guess while I'm here, mines obvious. I'm a Firefighter and my number is 2.
A simple 'Firefighter' or 'Fireman', etc. was taken.
