Mine's rather self explanatory. As Geezer said: you're never too old to find new ways of being stupid.

OK, it's finally my turn. When I was in high school, I tried to read Walden, by Henry David Thoreau. It intrigued me at first but then I got bored with it and only got a third of the way through it. A few years later, while in college, I decided to take a day or two off. I put a copy of Walden into my leather jacket, hopped on my little Yamahopper motorcycle, and rode out to Walden Pond. I sat down under a tree near the pond, pulled out the book, and started reading. When it got too dark to read, I lay down and slept under the tree. When the sun came up, I started reading again and stayed there till I finished the book. It certainly did not bore me the second time I read it.

So, fast forward to the era of the internets and the need for usernames, I decided that variations of Thoreau would serve me for that purpose.

By the time I found my way to SRP, I decided that I had done enough usernames with a Thoreau motif. Since Thoreau was the inspiration for so many utopian endeavors, I chose the name of Utopian as a replacement for my usual username. In case anyone has not figured it out, my avatar is Henry David Thoreau, who was in desperate need of a shave!

bluesman is pretty self explanatory. I play harp and sing in a blues band. I added the seven the first time I tried to use the username because bluesman had already been taken and the references to Craps. I don't gamble, but traditionally many bluesmen did and do.

There is a character created by the late Terry Pratchett called Dibbler, a "businessman" who protests if pushed that he is " cutting me own throat" Hence sometimes known as CMOT Dibbler. I'm no businessman but do like Pratchett and thought CMOT was a likely outcome when I got into this game. Up to now at least I was wrong.

In my early internet forum days I used to always go by PureXTC & then Prohibited Substance
So now I just drop the Prohibited & go by Substance or Substance71 which is my old race number

this not to be mistaken for Lutetium with the Atomic Number:71 from the Periodic Table of Elements
which also sums me up pretty good LOL
I Quote from the table of elements
Lutetium is one of the most difficult elements to prepare and has no large scale practical uses
    yep that's me
    Saved,
