"Tiz" (teez) is the Persian word for "sharp".

Mine's my name. Its rare in itself, let alone amongst the wetshavers. I like using my real name, that way it's more personal.... it's also cute listening to people from all over the world try to pronounce it, or make any sense of the spelling.
As the time passes, so we learn.

Serbian Croation pronounced sir-jan It comes from the Latin words (SERVUS > SERVĬUS) > SERGĭUS and means servant or slave.

Tintin, a Belgian cartoon character. Read some imported comic books in high school and there was a movie made a couple years ago that i went to see with my son. Looks like he might use a straight razor because of his clean shaven face. Being new to forums i couldn't think of anything else. wish i would have used a form of my real name now.

Hey pretty cool! That's surely one of the interpretations, but not really "slave"... "servant" rather, because it can also mean "guardian", "keeper", or "chaperone".

Being an authentic Serbo-Croatian name, there's of course more about the origin tying it to the region, but basically that's it.

    Big props to you and my fellow Sergios-es, Sergio-s, Sergej-s, Serge-s and Sergiu-s [emoji6]

A zugbug is a fishing fly, since I've always had good luck with those, I hoped that luck would transfer into straights.
