Default Any Blackpowder Shooters out there?

I am a black powder shooter, I have 2 handmade flintlocks that I shoot and have gone hunting with and taken a deer with one of them. Cabela's has a .36 cal. revolver they call the "Yank", all steel. I already have one and just bought another. It is on sale for $199.00 normally $249.00. It is kinda cold this morning down here but I have my melting pot out and will made some round balls for them a bit later when it warms up a bit this afternoon. I have no delay in when I am shooting the rifles, I have a .40 cal. and a .50 cal. rifle. They are sure fun to shoot at the range and I get questions all the time about them. I have the outfit to go along with them also. Anybody else out there that shoots blackpowder?.

Yep, I use real blackpowder also. I also use hand made round ball instead of conical.

I would not consider myself to be a "Shooter" but yes I own three

    .50 CVA Pennsylvania Long Flintlock
    .50 CVA Hawken percussion
    .44 Navy percussion Revolver

I don't shoot them often enough to be any good with them, but I can hit with them..

I mostly use Pyrodex powder, and round balls

The .50 cal Thompson Center Renegade percussion rifle was a kit I bought and built 25 years ago. The .50 cal CVA Kentucky pistol was a gift from an uncle.
