Reminds me of the Duncan Summer Home.

Some are here and Some are gone.

    John's Weather Forecasting Stone...
I'm gonna have to copy that and send it to friends! Lol
Reminds me of the weather report in the islands...
"Todays weather will be mostly fine".. That's it every day.

I think that you would like the designs of many of these fish houses. Some simple and efficient some extravagant and elegant.

I will have to get/find some pictures to show.

I've had many if different shanties, built them myself.
Still using the last one I built, over twenty years ago.

Got it tricked out, for easy dragging. A set of conduit runners can be installed to the base of the floor.
Gives me 12" of clearance for deep snow, and reduces most all resistance.

I also have it rigged the same way, but with a set of water ski's. That's for snow that has crusted over, or when the snow has gotten heavy enough, that its pushed the ice down below the water level, and ya get the "Slush" effect.

Y'all southern folk, dunt no nutton bout dat, but its like trudgin thru a fert o mud coverd glass.
