    Wow...a clothesline...
Is that classified as an antique?

Judging from the looks I would consider it Retro. Maybe vintage...........

It's a Solar and Air in Motion Device designed to remove moisture from fabrics.
Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.

Many years ago when California was having power outages Doonesbury did a strip where Phil Slackmeye put up a clothesline to conserve energy (and money).

He'd gotten it up when a representative from the Home Owners Association showed up and told him had to take it down because it violated the Association's Bylaws.

There are associations around here where it is against the rules to have a clothes line.

Some you can have one but if there are no clothes on it it has to be wound up.

I could never live in a place like that.

I turned by back and she had about 6 feet pulled off the roll.

I wrapped most of it back up but left her a foot or two.

I have always had the toliet paper and paper towels installed so that the new product comes over the top. Years ago I walked into the bathroom that the kids used and found that one of them had given the TP a good tug as they were finishing and the entire roll was laying on the floor. I'd just put a new roll on that morning.
