    Now I've got myself a list!!!
    Ohhhhh yeah!
    Thank you gentlemen, did I tell you my wife hates Westerns?

    I'm thinking Workshop/Man Cave , with a TV and recliner.
    Mini bar, all the good stuff. Old Westerns on the TV.
    This will either save my marriage or destroy it!

    My brother & I both love westerns. I’ve decorated my house as western as possible, buffalo skull. stuffed rattlesnake, Navajo rugs, deer skulls & horns etc. I even sleep under a buffalo robe in the winter. He tells me l, on occasion, I need a sign saying “we don’t rent pigs”.

    On another note. A friend & I visited another one of our friends this morning. The one we were visiting builds stagecoaches. He’s got #14,on a traitor in his shop, ready for local parades.

    I watch westerns most of the time. Big Duke fan. Guess I grew up with them cause westerns were prevalent in the fifties and early sixties But all time favorite movie is Lobesome Dove. Hands down. Now what about a series that no one has mentioned. The Guns Of Will Sonnett

    New TV Western discoveries in my adulthood that I have absolutely NO recollection of in my childhood are;

    "Tales of Wells Fargo" with Dale Robertson (my new favorite). It's well produced, good cinematography (mostly shot outdoors with limited studio production) and well written.

    "The Rebel" with Nick Adams

    "Trackdown" with Robert Culp (this show actually spun-off "Wanted Dead or Alive" with Steve McQueen)

    "Wanted Dead or Alive" with Steve McQueen

    Thanks. If I had the Thermos, I would really be worth something, but alas the Thermos is LONG gone. I think it broke on the school bus when I was 10.

    No matter. I'd never sell it anyway. At this point, it's an Heirloom. It's currently in my closet filled with Harris Company Stamps. I sent them a dollar when I was 12 and they sent me a bag of cancelled postage stamps. Probably not even worth a dollar back then. I dumped them in the lunch box and that's where they remain to this day.

    My favourite is the Good the Bad and the Ugly. IIRC it has a scene where C.E. shaves himself with a straight.
    Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose. Jean-Baptiste Alphonse Karr.

    Seems as if Crossfire Trail May have had a barbers scene in it, although I cannot recall if they show Tom Selleck getting shaved or not. It was a big enough favorite of mine that, when I was planning on getting involved in Cowboy Action Shooting, I had a gunbelt made that was patterned after the one Tom Selleck used.
