I got mine. My parents are 86 years old. They got theirs. I personally don't care if someone wants to get one or not. Because that's their business. The mask thing is nonsense. And so is the quarantine. We did that last year and covid took over anyway. Fact! In NYC last year the overwhelming majority of people were quarantined and wearing masks. And yet despite this 2/3 or more of new cases were people who wore masks and we're quarantined. MIT scientist says the mask does nothing. But wear a mask anyway. It's all nonsense. Many states numbers are skewed as we are finding out now. Don't blame unvaccinated people for the pandemic or the increase in cases. It's THEIR BUSINESS if they don't want it. So trying to force someone to do something they don't want to do is nonsense. So far we live in a free country. Use your freedom any way you want that's legal. The rest is just blowing wind. You won't.get people to do anything they don't want to. So maybe people should stop trying to.

The reason we want everybody vaccinated isn't because of some nefarious plot against right wingers.

It's all about you know s-c-i-e-n-c-e. The more unvaccinated folks in a population the more the virus will mutate more radically until it may or may not morph into something really bad.

This is all pointless. As far as I'm concerned anyone not wanting to be vaccinated is like someone on the deck of the Titanic as it goes down. Going down? Of course not. This is unsinkable, it must be false news. Look at all those fools jumping into the water.

Allowing "science" to supercede peoples constitutional rights is bad. Maybe in a communist country you can do that. "we need group think comrades! The greater good, blah blah blah." Slaves and robots are made this way. But not here. You have a constitutional right to stay quarantined for the rest of your life vaccinated or not. You also have the same right to go out and about, you also have the right to refuse or take a vaccine. ANd heckling people because of it is foolish.

There is a difference between someone putting a pair of handcuffs on you and the Govt forcing you to get vaccinated and your employer saying "get vaxed or stay home.

My wife works for the local school system and they can't make anyone get vaccinated period.

If you work for a private outfit and yer boss says stand on yer head or get fired? Well it's his outfit and you vote with yer feet. Yea you can take him to court if you want.

That's the same as the old smokers argument. I mean it's my constitutional right to go wherever I want with a cigarette in my mouth and if it's indoors and you don't like it well you leave. Me give you cancer? What hogwash that's all false news.

There is no reasoning with ideologues. They find evidence to support what they already believe. This is true regardless of red or blue, left or right. I am as libertarian as anyone but I refuse to be told what to think. I look at all the evidence with equal scepticism. Far right, far left they are all full of agenda and devoid of interest in the truth. I have known people who are in their 60s, heavy drinker, liver disease, over weight that got covid and we're a little sick. I have also known young healthy people with no high risk that died with it. I have heard quackery on both sides. I have weighed the evidence and done my best to sift through the noise. I am going to get the vaccine tomorrow morning because I feel the benefits outweigh the risks. If you agree great. If you don't that also is great. "I'm the one who's got to die when it's time for me to die. So let me live my life the way I want to."

If you want to force people into it, then start at the southern border. All those detained and released into the general population arent getting it either if they dont want one. And they have less rights than citizens do although it seems to be the other way around. Maybe during the election the party "leaders" should have had more brains than to instill the fear of the vaccine in their voters. I didnt hear anything about science then. They did a great job! Now after the election the same idiots who said they dont trust it are telling people to get one. Talk about science? You can get a scientific report to say anything you want if you have enough data. As i said I got mine. But that doesnt mean someone who doesnt should be shunned. Why are vaccinated people so afraid of covid if they got their shot?
