Just a quick update:
We were goign to have the baby at home but since it was taking so long we ended up in the hospital afterall. (Having babies at home is standard in the NL, in stead of in the hospital)
And now I can report that having come into this world to his overjoyed parents, on the 8th of March 2008 at 11:22 AM local time, is:
Adam Alexander Noot (And his mother is doing good as well.)
Now I gotta run gents as I was only home to pick some things up (Guenevère's glasses for instance. She'll be happy to finally SEE her firstborn.)

Handshakes and hugs and I'll buy a cigar today and pretend it was from you Alex.
Congratulations! And my wish for you is that you and your son have a great time together.
GLEE!
Edit: And now I've got to wonder if xmans wife beat her in the race. let us know xman! We're all a twitter and waiting for an excuse to buy more cigars!Last edited by Nickelking; 03-08-2008 at 02:09 PM.

Wahay!! Congratulations Alex, and to Guenevère as well of course!
You must be very proud and on top of the world. Just think, another Noot to do crazy things in skating parks in years to come. Bet you're gonna look at those stunts you do in a different light now that you're a Dad!
We're looking forward to photos whenever you're ready.
Best wishes
M.

Mother and child are home and healthy. I'll post pictures and possibly some video in a separate topic later on. (Highjacking is one thing...but posting pictures of MY son in HIS topic is quite another.

Yes, this is my firstborn. And he's amazing. He's a stunning little kid that rarely sits completely still (he wasn't very quiet in the womb either) and a dark head of hair.
And he's strong!! The nurse claims that looking at him (and seeing him feed) you'd think him at least 4 days old, not the measily 1 he is right not)
