You know I never had any children, and when younger did not fully appreciate the miracle of birth, afterall children are born everyday. But now that I am older and understand how fragile life truly is, ohhh that a tiny little life has been growing inside your wife's belly and has come into this world.....it's just awesome, big ole sigh.......makes me have "alligator tears" lol.....
How much does Adam weigh ? and we have to know his length too ?
Not meaning to hijack X's thread here, but while we are patiently waiting, waiting, waiting for an update

Adam weighed 3740 grams when he was born and he's around 50,5 centimeters tall.
He's lost a bit of weight since then (which is normal and is down to 3580 grams.

It's a Boy!
Sorry to leave you all hanging, but it has been an odessey.
After 32 hours of labourincluding 16 hours of active labour and 4 1/2 hours of pushing (like a titan I might add) in final labour, all without medication, Valeska agreed to a forceps retraction because the baby was just not coming. When we got to the operating room and Val was anesthetized , the surgeons did a manual exploration and discovered the baby was Transverse or something like that, essentially stuck in the birth canal and that a C-section was our safest option.
At precisely 4:00 am on Friday March the 7th, our son Marlow Gaél González MacDonald arrived, weighing 3430g (7lb 9oz).
Tending for a new baby and a post operative mother is hard work which only gets harder when I am needed to help supplement baby's diet during Photo Therapy for Jaundice. This is why I haven't had a spare minute to post an update till now. Exhaustion is a grand understatement.
All is well with Marlow now, but Momma still has weeks of healing ahead which means lots more waiting on her hand and foot. I've had worse jobs. She's my hero.
Pics to follow as soon as I figure out what's up with my USB drive.

Right, then ... pic time:
Here's Marlow weighing inI'm not sure yet, but I think this might have given him super powers
Here's the immediate family
QT
And here's Marlow getting his photo therapy.
We're all so happy to be home at last. The past week has been such a massive chore. I've got a day job shift tomorrow which should seem like a vacation in comparison. Must fall down now.
