It all depends on who wins the Cotton Bowl (Cincinnati vs. Alabama; 3:30PM) — if the Tide roll, I'll watch the Orange Bowl (Georgia vs. Michigan; 7:30PM), but if the Tide get rolled-over, then it's the "Thin Man" marathon on TCM (8PM).

You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

    Hmmmm

I am not sure if we are doing "Dinner" on NYE or NYD if we do it NYE I will be snoozing on the couch till midnight when the wife wakes me up to drink Champagne with her LOL

If we do "Dinner" on NYD I doubt either of us will see the ball drop in an empty Time Square..

It is all about the special food nowadays, not the "Party" hehehe

Having our traditional NYE home made Chinese dinner and, if I can stay awake, will watch the ball drop in Times Square with the boss.

Lets all hope 2022 will be a better year.

Our relations have a tradition here at the ranch on the North face of Wheeler peak. You see, there is this mean Black Bear we call Ned who gives us trouble all year long. He be big and mean so knowing where his den is and since he be hibronatin we roust him and when he comes out he be so groggy we just knock him over and roll him down the mountain and then run the other way.

Maybe that's why he be so mean and ornery and of bad disposition.

I won't be participating this year so I wish the youngsters well.

Today is my daughter's birthday so we will go to dinner at the Japanese Steakhouse (her choice for dinner) and then home to cut the cake. Probably be asleep before the ball drops. Not much of a party animal anymore. I got that way out of my system back in my younger days.
Dang it! Just remembered I forgot to pick up the black eyed peas and hog jowls. Back out to Publix I go.

Sounds like cow tipping after WAAAAY to many cold ones...

Or maybe more like bull slapping.
