I don't have a law library at my disposal. Find one of your assistant district attorneys and you will be educated. The way the sun will rise tomorrow so will novel prosecutions occur.
If you want the exact same one as trumps then it's not novel anymore. You keep getting stuck on this concept that he was railroaded and it's just not the case.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

President Trump had his Happy Birthday telephone call with President Putin today. That pretty much says it all.

"A trial judge is a judge who presides over a trial court and is responsible for managing the proceedings and making legal rulings.
The trial judge is responsible for ensuring that the trial is conducted in a fair and impartial manner, that the rules of evidence and procedure are followed, and that the rights of the parties are protected. This includes making decisions about the admissibility of evidence, overseeing jury selection, and instructing the jury on the law.
The trial judge also has the authority to rule on pre-trial motions, such as motions to suppress evidence or dismiss the case and to impose sanctions on parties or attorneys who violate the rules of the court.
In some cases, the trial judge may also act as a fact-finder, particularly in cases where there is no jury. In these cases, the judge will hear testimony, review evidence, and make a determination about the facts of the case.
The role of the trial judge is critical to the functioning of the criminal justice system, as they are responsible for ensuring that trials are conducted fairly and that justice is served. Judges must be impartial and unbiased and must apply the law in an even-handed manner.
Overall, the trial judge plays a key role in the administration of justice and must balance the interests of the parties with the need to uphold the integrity of the court and the legal system as a whole."

There are rules and procedures which must be followed by courts which do differ by jurisdiction but must be even handed and follow the Constitution. But that is almost immaterial to anything pertinent. Trump's trial actually propelled him toward a second term. One of the other main factors to him getting reelected is that people on the left like those posting here can't or won't see how it propelled, even insured his reelction. How that is possible is beyond me.The deplorables who have had enough and rose up to vote your side out have had enough. There has been a nationwide rejection of the left's agenda and policies and a call at the ballot box for a return to common sense. You can talk about what courts can and will do all you want. Just because something is legal doesn't mean it is right or just. It was mentioned that Trump was convicted by a jury of his peers. OJ Simpson was also acquitted by a jury of his peers, peers that were hand picked by high priced lawyers to ensure that justice was not served. These proceedings were clearly politically motivated. It was so transparent that it shows the arrogance of your party, its leaders and its membership. What a demonstration of how they feel they are owed power. It is just astounding.
Wrap your head around this: even though you succeeded in securing felony convictions, what dems had to offer was so bad he got elected anyway, arguably even because of it.
You just don't get it do you. The people are fed up with you. All these gesticulations: the lawfare, the congressional misbehavior getting them arrested, the riots, the deplorable disrespect in joint session addresses, all these childish shenanigans are driving the populous further and further toward the right. But don't take my word for it.

So by all means, keep it up! Make yourselves totally and completely irrelavent so that we can be done with this nonsense and go back to running a country like grown ups.
Not only has this thread gone but remained off topic but it has become a bit circular. I can't see where this goes from here besides more rehash. I know you have made up your minds and God knows I have made up mine. I'm going to go look at threads about razors. I'll be back if there is more to discuss about "The Ukraine Situation."Iron by iron is sharpened, And a man sharpens the face of his friend. PR 27:17

Thanked: 133Voters didn’t re-elect Trump because of his conviction they voted for him mostly due to frustration with inflation and immigration. But now that he’s back in office, his approval is underwater on both issues.
I would also like to point out that he was facing a weak candidate as well. Kamala dropped out of the 2020 Democratic primary before voting even began and never had strong national support.
Despite all of that, Democrats have still been winning special elections even in red leaning areas since Trump took office again.

I wouldn't call this a total rejection of the left. Winning an election doesn't also mean they are innocent. I think the midterms will paint a better picture for how America is feeling when they roll around.
Also wouldn't hate a separate thread, just having it be called US politics or something.Last edited by Christian1; 06-14-2025 at 10:05 PM.

Thanked: 8626I don't think that I am alone in wishing you guys would start another thread on another forum.
If you are so determined to argue politics on a razor forum, it just proves that you are unable to play in the proper place.
Why don't you get some balls and hit the streets and duke it out.
It sucks to come to the forum and look at current threads and see this crap lining the left side of the front page.
NOBODY is going to convince ANYBODY of anything. The votes are counted. Suck it up. Piss and moan if you like. Just do it some place else.
Your moaning is destroying this forum. People who come here are not looking for the shit on the news, guys. It seems apparent that anyone else's respect for you does not matter to you a bit. Dye your hair blue. Get a foreign flag waving, some molotov cocktails and a pallet of bricks. Plug the freeways. Sing some silly songs.
Slurp some more poison you love so much. Feed your head.
This thread violates and hurts the forum. It ain't the place.
If you respond to me, I shall split this scene. But first, I will be making a scene. You have no right to dispute what I say as it is obviously true.
Really sad that it is shoved in our faces by 2 moderators.
Razors, shaving. Advise. Helping others. Remember that?Nothing more to say........

This forum was created specifically as "off topic". Most sites have similar. No one is making you look at it. If you think this forum is destroying the forum you are in the minority. If you feel that strongly about it I suggest you contact Ivan and bend his ear about it.

Stop and think what you are saying. Screw the court system. If you don't agree with a conviction well, just ignore it after all it's just bogus anyway. Also remember, what percentage of eligible voters voted for Trump? Around 32%. Hardly a mandate. Trump is a master manipulator, conman. It's easy to tell everyone what they want to hear and then just do what you want later. Let's revisit this buyers remorse 2 years from now.
