I've heard that before, Paul.
It was during a dart tournament. I threw three hat tricks in a row to win the tournament for our team, during the championship We won the first and second half of the season, and took the championship.
When my last dart hit the bullseye, I heard those exact words from a spectator.
Man....dude throws like a machine.
Doesn't really matter what I do. I compete with myself to be as good as I can, at what I choose to do.
I guess that comes from my mother telling me, that I couldn't, it won't work. It gave me a reason to prove she was wrong.
The best one was when I fished my first open tournament. Field of 160 boats, 8 hrs of fishing. Mom said I was wasting my money against guys like them.
When I got home I tossed a check down in front of her for 2600$. I said....you make that in eight hours, at work.!?
She seen a lot more of um, till she passed away. Don't tell me I can't....I'll prove y'all wrong. Just my nature.Mike

Update..
Bass are done with spawning. So I've been geared up for picking on the sunfish/bluegills while their on the beds, with my fly rod.
But awhile... there's usually a few bass in the vicinity, picking on them too. We call um...wolf packs. Sooo..a couple from today.

Found two, very large areas where the gills decided to spawn, today. One on the deep side of a main lake point, and one surrounded by lilly pads, in the middle of a shallow, swampy, bay.
First spot.
Second spot. I filled my 18 gallon live well.
That equals a 7 gallon bucket of sunnies.
Back at home by 2:00, fish cleaned, vac packed, and in the freezer by 8:30Mike
