I'm becoming moderately known in the German Shepherd and Schutzhund world.
At least to the point where I have heard people I don't know Point me out to their friends by name and the friend recognized the name and knew of me just didn't recognize me. Its happened a few times and it is weird to be able to eavesdrop on a conversation about you by people you have never met.
It also means that when at a show I can't goof off or do something stupid, it will be noticed. I can see where true stars can get frustrated with having to be ON all the time. You do have to behave differently when you are trying to protect a public image and reputation.Last edited by Wildtim; 03-04-2008 at 02:52 PM.

Not famous.
Have been on CNN once (as the NAS Pt. Mugu honor guard bugler, I got to play "taps" for the pearl harbor memorial in LA several years ago-camera surprised me a bit-they just ran up out of nowhere when I started "taps").
I've also stayed in a Holiday Inn Express.
I wouldn't be surprised if we'd recognize at least one or two members here.

Had my name and picture in Esquire Magazine,
was mentioned in a book and have been
interviewed for news channels in New York
and Boston area. Also did a commercial
for a local appliance center which was aired
locally during Monday Night Football on ESPN.
